I was fortunate and happy to have been able to purchase Copper, a  beautiful Quarter Horse at an auction.  He turned out to be a really outstanding horse and friend.

Much time was spent grooming and brushing Copper, as he loved it and I enjoyed doing it so much.  He was easy and smooth to ride and “smarter than some people”.

Copper was trained as a Cutter Horse and we participated in the local annual rodeos on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi.  We worked in the arena pinning the calves after the roping events.  Copper was an Excellent Cutter Horse which came natural to him.  He did all the work.  All I had to do was stay on him…

Copper and I had 12 fabulous years together, riding , working  and just having a lot of fun together.  He died some years ago,  but I still sadly miss him a lot.
